Gala Anual

Each October, we raise awareness about the dangers of domestic violence and honor the lives lost to it. Join us in our efforts to support survivors and remember victims by participating in our awareness events throughout the month. Visit our website for updates on campaigns and activities.

The Mujeres Unidas Walk in Her Shoes 5K Run/Walk/Awareness Fair is an annual event held in April to raise awareness about sexual violence and support the Mujeres Unidas Emergency Shelter, Family Justice Center, and Rape Crisis Center. The event includes a 5K walk/run and an awareness fair, with the date and time to be determined.

Our annual gala raises funds to help retire the debt on the Family Justice Center, a vital resource built in 2004 to provide victims with easy access to crisis intervention, safety planning, trauma-informed counseling, and legal advocacy—all in one location. Your support allows us to expand services and continue helping survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in our community.
