The Legal Advocacy Program assists individuals who have experienced domestic violence and/or sexual assault. Legal advocates provide information regarding legal options, assistance in obtaining Protective Orders, and assistance with obtaining representation in divorce and/or child custody matters. Our legal advocates can also accompany clients to court, attorney’s offices, and law enforcement agencies to provide advocacy and support. Legal advocates conduct trainings to law enforcement, attorneys and other professionals regarding agency services, the dynamics of family violence, or sexual assault.
