On December 21st, Mujeres Unidas partnered with Julissa Gomez to host a Lotería Night Fundraiser at Roosevelt’s @ 7 in McAllen. The event successfully raised over $1,000 in donations, which will directly support Mujeres Unidas’ mission to assist victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Hidalgo County.

The evening brought the community together in support of a shared cause, raising awareness about the vital services Mujeres Unidas provides. Attendees participated in Lotería games, with prizes generously donated by Karla’s, Bodega Tavern & Kitchen, Golden Corral, Roosevelt’s @ 7, By Maxwell Hair Salon, and CC’s Sweets.
